• Can you think of passages in Torah that you do not interpret literally? What about passages that you think do not need to be followed anymore? What principles do you use to determine if a passage is relevant, and, if relevant, how it must be interpreted?
• Have you ever altered the way you understood a passage of scripture? If so, think of one such passage. What were the reasons for which you changed your understanding of the passage? If not, have you seriously considered another way of understanding a passage?
