When choosing the name of this blog, I wanted it to somehow, though somewhat cryptically, reflect what I wanted to do in this space. I wanted a space where I could share my thoughts on issues relating to the Christian faith as I see it. I also wanted to reflect on my other areas of interest. It seemed like these purposes were at odds with each other – or crossed – in other words. And since the cross is an important symbol to the Christian faith, the name just fell in place.
